Diamond cutter's centre - Lamoura

The Maison du Lapidaire (diamond cutter’s centre) recounts the history of the peasants from the Upper Jura who, in addition to farming, cut precious stones for the jewellery industry during the tough and unending winters. Crystals as well as decorative and precious stones were thus shaped and polished by thousands over a period of two centuries.
